Анотація
Рассматриваются результаты экспериментального исследования представлений граждан Украины про типичные события прошлого, настоящего и будущего. Исследование было проведено в 2002-2003 гг. Выборку составили 121 человек, проживающий в восточной Украине (г. Харьков) и 100 человек – жителей западной Украины (г. Ровно). Проведен многоуровневый анализ данных с целью выявления социально-демографических факторов, влияющих на субъективную картину социального времени. Исследована связь образа социального времени и образа Я. Results of an experimental research of representations of typical events of the past, the present and the future are considered. The study was conducted in 2002-2003. The sample comprised 121 people living in eastern Ukraine (Kharkov) and 100 residents of western Ukraine (Rivne). A multilevel data analysis was carried out in order to identify socio-demographic factors that determine a subjective picture of social time. Connection of the image of time and the Self-image in residents of Eastern and Western Ukraine is investigated. The dependence of the image of social time on the characteristics of the socio-economic and ethno-cultural situation is revealed. The main regional differences in the social representations of the future and the present are associated with the behavioral model of a socially active authentic Ukrainian. Assessing the present, eastern respondents focused on positive economic changes, while western respondents focused on economic difficulties. Respondents of the older age group admitted the possibility of economic degradation of Ukraine in the future, while young people rejected this possibility. Regional affiliation and age did not affect perceptions of the country's future economic prosperity, but these perceptions were associated with a subjective assessment of one’s well-being in the present.
